Tips for using 4runner for mountain towing?

Hi! I will be travelling soon. Curious if anyone here had tried towing in the mountains using their 4Runner? what's the experience like? Do you have any tips or recommendations? Thanks!

Just the basics for me. I'd say you should monitor your temp and engine closely. Tire pressures are also important and pay close attention to your brakes as well

Yesss, it tows good! Just keep it in manual mode on long grades so you can easily control the gear shifts and overheat the transmission. And downshift very early if you're going down so you can rely on engine braking. You wouldn't wanna ram on your brakes too hard.
