oil everywhere on 4runner, any ideas?

just checked my daughter's 4Runner, it's like an oil crime scene under there. with 25k miles on the clock, I noticed oil spots under the car. pulled the skid plates and... wow. oil's all over the place—head gasket, oil lines, hoses, fan blades, even down to the cross members. got it booked in with Toyota soon, but this much leakage ain't normal. wondering if anyone else's 4Runner started bleeding out this bad before. did you sort it or was it some massive fix? any tips welcome before I head to the shop.

@prestigious-iceberg77 gave you good advice on documenting the mess for the dealer. When oil gets on the fan blades it often points to a leaking seal up front on the timing cover. I'm interested to hear what Toyota found since that should've been a straightforward warranty repair.
