My bro in law is always wants to one up me. He knows I got a cool 4runner for years and talking about wanting to upgrade to the latest one.

The thing is that after a week he notice a strong burning smell from inside the car, he's not sure from which side tho'.
My wife told me that he have bring the car back to the dealership and they said that it's probably from some powder in the equipment that burns off (whaat!?), and will go away after more that 10K miles. he find a second opinion and was told that there's no such thing in a Toyota car lol.
His car is now over 20K miles, does anyone know what happens here?
