Loud thud when pressing the brake pedal

I have a '23 Limited and it is making a loud thud when I first press the brake pedal then it stops for a bit. Anyone else with a newer 4Runner experiencing this or have any ideas what it could be?

The thud may have been caused by the brake booster pump engaging, which is common in certain situations. It might be worthwhile to check the brake pads, calipers, or any loose parts, though, if it persists or feels strange.

This is right. There is a pump that is connected to the overall brake mechanism of the car, when its turned on, theres a slight force that causes the cylinder to hit cylinder and knock a piece of metal inside that causes the thump sound. Quite annoying and I dont see any good reason for this lol

My buddy's 2022 Limited got the same issue back then and it turned out it's the brake booster just doing its normal course. When she brought it to the dealer, they said it's a feature and not a bug. Hang in there then :)
