my 4runner is driving strong but it needs some love cosmetically and my biggest problem visually is the roof so is there a way to fix it? i know repaint is the obious option but im looking for other posibilities maybe something cheaper or diy?

Same boat with my sister, her 4runner was mechanically good but the roof was looking rough. She used bedliner on hers and it worked great, covered the faded spots, and gave it a rugged look, you could consider wrapping too

@flyonthewall88 I'm not sure why you want to fix it. for me, it looks fine, but if you want something different, a roof rack is a good option

The roof? What exactly do you want fixed? Painting only the roof will ruin the overall look, if you want some added accessories then you can go for a roof rack or cross bars.

Like everybody else is saying, roof rack or cross bars is your best choice. No one really looks at the roof. lol
