Metallic pop from the back, normal or nah?

First off, I don't even know if this a silly question (the header I mean) cos can a pop actually ever be normal ? my 4runner has been making this little metallic pop from somewhere behind my left shoulder and I noticed it happens mostly when the truck shifts weight like turning corners, bumpy roads, that sort of thing always at slower speeds, maybe under 35 mph.
It's not very loud, just annoying enough to make me wonder if something's getting ready to fall off. Thinking maybe a bushing or something loose, but not totally sure.
Appreciate any ideas before I start chasing ghosts back there

That kind of noise is never normal, no matter what anyone says. For this sound, you're on the right track for the bushing. It should also be a swaybar link or the shock if its worn or loose. Something falling off isn't something you see everyday, but I would get this looked at as soon as possible and fix it

is it normal? nah, unless your 4Runner moonlights as a bubble wrap factory!
That sound during weight shifts at slow speeds screams loose suspension or body components. you need to check on the body mounts, then the sway bar links. also see if there's any loose shock mounts.
You're smart to look into it now before it graduates to a full blown symphony of chaos. Grab a flashlight and start hunting those ghosts!

Nice that you've got super awareness or something because weird noises are never normal. Agree with all of them here. Hunt the problem. I'm pretty sure you're gonna be able to make it given that you're pretty ok.
