2025 toyota 4Runner Gas Pedal Mystery!

My dad bought a brand new 2025 toyota 4Runner (under 2k miles), and now it has a weird problem the dealer can't nail down.
He's getting an intermittent gas pedal vibration when turn the steering wheel, even slightly. The catch? It comes and goes, so the dealer can't seem to replicate it.

I did a quick check. here's what I've noticed that it might've started around 1k miles, and it's intermittent (shows up after about 20 mins driving but clears up after an overnight cold start)
If it's happening, I can still feel the pedal vibrate even with the engine off just by wiggling the steering wheel. Sounds like a rubbing rubber seal or something, nothing looks loose.
Could this be a steering rack thing? Does something just need greasing? Totally stumped here
 
Probably a steering rack bushing or rubber mount might be rubbing, especially since you feel it even with the engine off.

Craaazy I say crazy for a brand new rig. If you can feel it with the engine off, you might need to lean toward something mechanical like a bushing or rack mount rubbing. Do check the steering shaft coupler too.
 
Something is rubbing or transferring vibration from the steering column to the pedal, maybe a bushing or grommet near the firewall or pedal box and it happens even with the engine off, so it's probably not drivetrain related. Try having someone move the wheel while you feel around the pedal area, could be a trim or wiring issue with tight clearances, doesn't really sound like a rack problem to me
