Key fob issue

Weird issue with my 2021 4Runner, after changing the lock beep setting, my key fob stopped locking and unlocking the car. The light on the fob flashes, but nothing happens. The doors still work by touch sensors and trunk button, just not the fob . I replaced the battery, no change, and now theres no lock/unlock beep either. Any idea?

Make sure to see if adjusting the beep setting has turned off the remote features in the vehicle settings menu. You might also want to try reprogramming the key fob by following the steps in the owner's manual, or you could disconnect the battery to reset the system.
